The Joy Daytime Talk Show is finally signing off.

Seymore Productions most recognizable daytime talk show, The Joy is set to sign off for good after the show undergoes a stressful time keeping it alive. The decision, which fell to executives, is said to have been several months in the making. Executives informed the staff January 20.

"This show isn't what I visioned back in November 2022. It was made for a youthful feel and excitement," executive producer Prince TJ told Seymore Productions. " We brought a new generation in to differentiate from the past hosts who made it what it is today. Courtney and Katrina were a perfect fit in my eyes, but I didn't feel the excitement anymore and sometimes that's okay."

"From day one I really enjoyed and advocated for The Joy," said president, CEO, and executive producer Bry'Neir Seymore. "The show went through so many struggles and so many challenges. Ever since we began the show with the test run, it was proved to be a success and in my opinion it was a success in my eyes."

"Some people may not know but I have been through everything with this show since day one and seen all the changes from behind the scenes," said executive producer and former co-host Damian Anderson. "The reason why I left the show was because I didn't feel the excitement anymore compared to when I first joined. It just wasn't meant to last very long and the show was good while it lasted."

The popular daytime talk show waves goodbye, and executives are moving along to better.
