VENtv and Bry'Neir Seymore's VENtv Plus Streaming Service to Debut Jan. 22

Make way for another new streaming service.

VENtv Plus, a joint venture between VENtv Networks and Seymore Productions, will launch on Monday, January 22. The ad-free video-on-demand service, will kick off with more than one hundred hours of shows, specials, including content from Bry'Neir Seymore, AJ the Comedian, Mahd the Comic, and other African-American content creators.

Seymore Productions president and CEO Bry'Neir Seymore added, via release, that the service will launch almost EVERYTHING and that the streaming service has some new VENtv Plus original projects set to be released soon.

VENtv Plus will be the official home of Bry'Neir Seymores "new films," TV and stage work, including "new movies," talk shows, possibly a new stand-up special, and others.

"I'm very excited about this unique opportunity to be featured on Roku TV. What we've done was build this project straight from scratch with our wonderful partners at Roku," said president and CEO Bry'Neir Seymore. "We've invested so much time and energy to bring our talents to a very unique and broad audience and with Roku, we're building a brand that takes on a large amount of power. This is what ownership looks like. This is what ownership really means. I can't wait to build on and continue the vision for VENtv Plus."

"This is like a dream come true for me. I've always wanted to be on TV, and Bry'Neir [Seymore] made that dream come to reality," said Executive Vice President of Production Prince TJ. "To all the other people trying to start their networks, good luck. People can claim the title of "owner" or "CEO" but your version is never on the level of Seymore Productions and that's the truth." Prince TJ said in a statement via release, "We tried the merging thing, but people don't want to make it to where we're going. We are of course not better than anyone else, but one thing for sure and two things for certain, we always have a plan and we're always moving."

VENtv Plus is available to stream on Roku starting January 22, 2024.
