VENtv Picks Up New Comedy Series, B

VENtv has picked up B, a comedy sitcom starring Late Nights with Bry’Neir Seymore host, Bry’Neir Seymore. The network announced late Saturday that Seymore — who previously played the lead roles in Uncle Dad (2019-2021) — will headline the new series slated for its 2024 fall lineup.

B focuses on Bry’Neir Thompson (Seymore), an aspiring actor in Atlanta, struggles to achieve his Hollywood dreams while his best friend Myles (Prince TJ) moves in after a fallout with his mother. Together, they face a series of comedic misadventures, odd jobs, and challenges that test their friendship and resolve. Their journey is filled with laughter, unexpected twists, and heartfelt moments, showcasing their unwavering bond and determination.

VENtv highlighted, "Seymore has established himself as a standout talent. Bry’Neir is not only writing, directing, and producing this new comedy series but also taking on a leading role. As networks and streaming platforms seek fresh and diverse content, Seymore delivers that in abundance."

Following the pilot, VENtv has green-lit the comedy series for a full season. Seymore has continued to be a prime-time fixture with his career. From Late Nights with Bry’Neir Seymore (2017-2023), Uncle Dad (2019-2021), to Bry in the Morning (2023-present). He currently serves as one of the hosts on the new prime-time talk show, The Vision (this September).

Bry’Neir Seymore will portray the lead role of Bry’Neir Thompson, while Prince TJ will play his best friend, Myles.

B will premiere this fall alongside the new comedy series, The Wilsons.
