According to Executives, Writing for the 'Damian' show will NOT resume until January 2024, and 'Late Night Hustle with Prince TJ', 'Bry', and 'The Joy' isn't set to air new produced episodes until the SAG-AFTRA strike has confirmed a deal.
As reported, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) has came to a tentative agreement after 4 months and 146 days. Unfortunately, the SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) strike has not made an agreement, yet.
This past week Daytime talk shows such as "The Joy Daytime", "Damian", and "Bry" has made an announcement saying their shows won't produce any new shows until the SAG-AFTRA strike is ceased. Exectuive producer of 'The Joy' said, "We aren't apart of the SAG-AFTRA, but we will support friends, and co-workers we know who are apart of the guild. We have gotten so much criticism for being off-air because so many has said we aren't apart of the guild. Here at Seymore Productions it's all about support and success."
Executive Producer & Host of the 'Damian' show said, "Once I chose to stay on-air after my colleagues made the decision to take time off, my show received so much backlash and criticism. I never knew things like that could hurt so much. So I went back to fix my mistake and I am choosing to wait until the SAG-AFTRA strike is done because I do have friends and co-workers who are apart of the guild."
Host of 'Bry' said, I took this decision and route because I personally work with some actors and actresses who are and still is apart of the SAG-AFTRA. I don't care what anyone says, I stand in full support of my colleagues."
Host of 'Late Night Hustle with Prince TJ' said, "It's simple, I am in full solidarity and support of my friends. I told production right off the bat that I am going to support my friends and there are no if, ands, or buts about it."
These "talk" series' will be HALTED until the SAG-AFTRA strike is over. Seymore Productions will be the first to let you know when the shows return.
